FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL F3 TEST AT CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS, ETHAN BROBSTON SET FOR LIGIER JSF4 RACE
Born and raised near Nashville, TN, 20-year-old Ethan Brobston has enjoyed a busy summer testing and racing cars across the United States as part of his long-term JENSEN race car driver development program.
Ethan's most recent outing was his most successful to date, completing a 2-day test driving the JENSEN team's Ligier F3 race cars at the Austin F1 track. Ethan's F3 test was strategic for multiple reasons including to provide Ethan with a big advantage on his upcoming Ligier JSF4 race by gaining advance knowledge of the tricks and optimal racing lines to be fast at Circuit of the Americas.
Ethan will make his Ligier JSF4 Championship race debut competing on the JENSEN F4 team at the 2024 season finale at Circuit of the Americas located in Austin Texas the first weekend of November.
JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "Ethan is a promising young talent, who is both naturally quick and diligent about learning of the science how driver's can extract performance from their race cars. He is also very reliable, which led to Ethan being given the opportunity to learn Circuit of the Americas in the considerably faster F3 race car so early in his driver development program."
Ethan scored his first podium result at the famous WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca circuit racing in the F4 California series finishing 3rd at the July event. In the world of karting, Ethan has also made his mark, with his most recent podium finish being a third place at Atlanta Motorsports Park.
Outside of his racing activity, Ethan is currently a junior in college pursuing his MBA. A passionate competitor, Ethan has a strong background in music. As a percussionist, he has showcased his talent on a national level, finishing in the top 20 at the prestigious Bands of America competitions held at Lucas Oil Stadium. With this blend of talent, commitment, and a competitive spirit, Ethan is poised for success on and off track.
Ligier JSF4 Championship is an entry level junior open-wheel race series ideal for the development of promising young talents. Utilizing the 2023 pro spec Ligier F4 race cars, the 2024 championship comprises five race events at circuits across the United States including the Austin season finale on the same circuit where Formula One races just two weeks prior.
