ARIZONA ROOKIE DRIVER PREPARING FOR 2022 DEBUT
IN THE F4 U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Jake Nelson is confirmed to join Jensen Global Advisors race team to compete in the F4 California Winter Series that features four races over two event weekends in February 2022 at circuits in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
F4 California Winter Series kicks off the first weekend of February with a pair of races at AutoClub Speedway located in suburban Los Angeles. Three weeks later, Sonoma Raceway located just north of San Francisco hosts the final races of the championship.
. Jake Nelson lives in Glendale Arizona, which is a suburb of Phoenix. Although he is a car racing rookie, Jake has considerable competition experience including winning two U.S. national championships in Motocross Quad racing.
Entering the 2022 F4 California Winter Series is an integral part of Jake's race car driver development program with a view to joining the F4 United States Championship for the 2022 racing season.
Jensen Global Advisors won the F4 California Winter Series championship in the 2019 season with driver Logan Cusson scoring two wins and two second place finishes.
Jensen team owner Eric Jensen states, "Jake has performed well in the early stages of his development program, including at his first races competing at Circuit of the Americas located in Austin Texas. Being from Phoenix, competing in the F4 California Winter Series is a logical next step where Jake can compete against many other talented young drivers at two of the most high-profile race tracks located on the US west coast."
