ANA PALESTRO AND NICO BALKISSOON JOIN JENSEN FOR 2025 DRIVER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Born and raised near Washington D.C., 12-year-old Nico Balkissoon has been testing with the JENSEN F4 Championship Team throughout 2024 at circuits located in California, Georgia, and Texas. Having shown exceptional speed and ability to learn, Nico has been confirmed to a full season development program including making his first race competitions.
Born and raised in suburban Seattle, Washington, 14-year old Ana Palestro has also been testing with the JENSEN F4 Championship Team throughout 2024 at circuits located in California and Texas. Having shown impressive grit and determination, Ana has also been confirmed to a full season development program with a view to competing full-time in the 2025 F4 California series.
JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "Ana attended one of our RACING CAMP programs in California this summer, and Nico attended one of our programs in Texas. Both kids showed extremely well in their first driving days, and have continued to impress in subsequent test days."
Jensen continued, "There's so much to learn in order for young drivers to be able to win races and championships at the F4 and Formula Regional competition levels. So to have a realistic chance of winning and ultimately having racing careers, it is imperative for young drivers to be part of professionally run development programs."
Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.
F4 California Series is one such championship, where the 2025 season will feature six race weekends at iconic circuits including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway.
