OLIVER WESTLING SCORES TWO WINS EN ROUTE TO FINISHING 4TH IN SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP

JENSEN finished second in the 2023 Formula Regional Americas team championship with our two young drivers Oliver Westling and Everett Stack enjoying very successful race seasons.

20 year old Oliver Westling scored his first ever professional race victory at New Jersey Motorsports Park in July with a dominant lights to flag drive. Westling followed up that performance by making the "pass of the year" with a determined last corner last lap move up the inside of race leader Callum Hedge to win a thrilling race at the Austin F1 circuit at the November season finale.

16 year old Everett Stack made meteoric progress in his first season of motorsport competition. Stack started the season racing on the JENSEN F4 US Championship team, all the while participating in an extensive testing program where he drove one of the JENSEN team's Ligier F3 cars. Similar to his team-mate Westling's 2022 program, Everett Stack graduated to finish his 2023 race season competing on the JENSEN team's Formula Regional Americas Championship team for the final two race weekends at Virginia and the Austin F1 circuit.

Team owner Eric Jensen stated, "2023 was an intensive season for our team as we helped a record number of young drivers - 24 in total - in various development programs. The main reason why we operate the race team is to identify and provide customized development programs for talented kids to take their shot at becoming professional race car drivers ideally at the Formula One or IndyCar level. Oliver and Everett are terrific case studies for young prospects as both started their journeys with no previous karting or racing experience, and quickly graduated up the Formula One driver development ladder achieving very competitive results."

JENSEN team testing is well underway for the 2024 race season at circuits in Miami, New Orleans, and California. The team will return to the Formula Regional Americas Championship as well as expanding its program to another young driver development series.

Formula Regional Americas is the top level American junior race series on the FIA Formula One Championship's young driver development ladder. 2024 championship schedule includes 21 races over 7 event weekends at iconic race circuits including the addition of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, and the season finale Circuit of the Americas.

Ligier JS-F3 are the specification race cars used in the championship, powered by 303 horsepower turbo-charged Honda engines capable of top speeds nearing 160 mph.
