CALIFORNIA ROOKIE DRIVER PREPARING FOR 2022 DEBUT
IN THE F4 U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
18 year old rookie driver Oliver Westling is confirmed to join Jensen Global Advisors race team to compete in the F4 California Winter Series that features four races over two event weekends in February 2022 at circuits in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
F4 California Winter Series kicks off the first weekend of February with a pair of races at AutoClub Speedway located in suburban Los Angeles. Three weeks later, Sonoma Raceway located just north of San Francisco hosts the final races of the championship.
. Young Sweden born Californian Oliver Westling lives in Emerald Hills, which is a town in the heart of Silicon Valley located south of San Francisco. Oliver is also a freshman at Chico State University studying Business & Entrepreneurship.
Entering the 2022 F4 West Coast Winter Series events is part of Oliver's driver development program with a view to joining the F4 United States Championship for the 2022 racing season.
Jensen Global Advisors won the F4 California Winter Series championship in the 2019 season with driver Logan Cusson scoring two wins and two second place finishes.
Jensen team owner Eric Jensen states, "Oliver is an impressive young guy who showed considerable speed in private testing following the U.S. Grand Prix last month. With several tests scheduled over the coming months, we are setting optimistic goals to see Oliver challenging for podiums on his pro racing debut in the F4 California Winter Series."
